Kotoricon is coming up quickly, a little over a week away! I'm really busy preparing, so updates will be on hold until the convention is over. It's one day only, on January 7th at the Gloucester County College (my college!) and I'm really excited that it's so close to home! :D Hope to see some of you there!

Hi everybody! I had a bit of time to spare, and decided to make some changes to the comic. Right now I'm in the process of combining chapters, since the first chapters are 10-15 pages long, and this last one is over 50. I want them to be a more consistent length and I'm also redrawing the old chapter covers. So any updates will be a false alarm... don't want to get your hopes up! And also don't want to confuse anyone when you see you're reading chapter 4 instead of chapter 7. Thank you for your patience everyone! ^u^

Hey guys, the next couple of weeks I'll be getting more hours at my job working full-time, and with exams and projects coming up as well, I will not have time to update. I'm thinking mid November I should be back on schedule, but I'll keep you posted. :)

Unfortunately I will probably not be posting new pages at least until the end of September. But it doesn't mean I'm putting this comic aside! I am still preparing for intervention which is only a couple of weeks away and making some pretty OTBS prints, keychains and other things. Along with racing to get ready for Intervention, I start school in about a week or two, and I also start a new job Friday! :D I'll be working in an office environment, it's pretty close to home, so I'm really excited! Time to dust off my business casual wear from a few years ago X3

So I'm sorry for not keeping up with replying to everyone and for the lack of new OTBS pages, while you're waiting, you can watch me on deviantArt or follow me on tumblr since I'll be updating on those sites more often. :3

There won't be an update today, and for a good reason too: I'm lazy.

But for real, I just haven't sat down to work on a page this week, I spent a lot of the time working on stuff to sell for intervention and practicing my figure drawings since I've been feeling kind of rusty, and I know I need to improve as well. I may update on Sunday, tomorrow I'll be going to (yet another) party, and I leave Monday for Rehoboth beach! So unfortunately no update for next Friday, but hoping that being by the shore and being away from home and stress will give me some inspiration to come up with some new drawings. I'm really excited, can't wait for Monday! :D

I didn't get around to finishing the new page today either, but I will when I come back from vacation!

Not sure when I'll post the next page, but for right now I'm going to be taking a break from making new pages. In the meantime, I'm working hardcore to get On the Bright Side ready to be printed, and I'll be replacing more of the old pages. I'm re-toning the first chapter (yes... AGAIN) as well because I started working at a higher resolution, some of you may see a difference when I post it. Hoping that all the pages will be finished before Intervention (not guaranteed, but would be nice). Since I've been on a roll with re-working the old pages, I'm going to keep it up as much as I can. And if you're in the area, come visit me and BakaMonMon (the author of Ocean Tides and show your support!

Also, On the Bright Side was suggested by a few people the be in the Smack Jeeves awards as the best romance! Thank you guys who have mentioned OTBS, it really means so much to me! It would be so cool to see this comic running against all the other nominees! ^u^ I never would have thought anyone would like it so much, I'm so grateful to have such amazing friends who have been so supportive, those who have stuck with this comic from the beginning, and my new readers... so thank you! I'm going to continue to do my best! Wish me luck, and good luck to everyone else who has been nominated! ^_^<3

The next update will be longer than I thought because of research papers and some non-school stuff just popped up, so I won't have much time to draw. But in a few weeks updates should resume when my psychology class ends early (I really really hope!!)
