Jacob is a very shy boy who lives a fairly quiet life. But one day, a family moves in next door to him. The oldest daughter, Kaylee, is a very kind and optimistic girl who is the same age as him.... and to his surprise, she is also his old best childhood friend! It's been eight years since they have last seen eachother, but after Kaylee's return, his life is never the same.
This is my first comic and I'm always experimenting with new techniques and keep trying to improve, so constructive criticism is always welcome. I'm also in the process of redoing the comic and replacing the old pages. So if you're wondering why my style has changed after a few pages, that's why! Other than that, I hope you enjoy the story!
If you've been visiting the OTBS site (or maybe reading through the comic) you probably noticed things changing and moving around each time the page refreshes. I'm still going to be messing around with it, so don't worry, you're not going crazy. I'm just indecisive. :)
So far I will be at 2 conventions, I will be at T-MODE April 19- 21 sharing a table with BakaMonMon and we'll also be at Intervention Con August 23-25. So mark your schedules and come visit! :3

Yup, so I found a new chat box and it is now on the site! The old one was no longer free, so of course I couldn't keep it. Hopefully this one will last longer and works okay :)
I got accepted to Intervention Con, which again I will be at along with BakaMonMon. I will be better prepared for this convention, so all I have to do now is show up, which I believe is the end of September. More details later when I'm not too lazy to look at my calendar. But I cannot wait, it'll be so much fun!
Also, I am working on the OTBS shop, because Zazzle isn't really doing anything for me. So far I will be selling bookmarks and buttons that I have made, and maybe throw in something a little extra with every purchase. ;D As soon as I can get paypal all worked out, I'll let you all know.
Kotoricon is coming up quickly, a little over a week away! I'm really busy preparing, so updates will be on hold until the convention is over. It's one day only, on January 7th at the Gloucester County College (my college!) and I'm really excited that it's so close to home! :D Hope to see some of you there!

Hi everybody! I had a bit of time to spare, and decided to make some changes to the comic. Right now I'm in the process of combining chapters, since the first chapters are 10-15 pages long, and this last one is over 50. I want them to be a more consistent length and I'm also redrawing the old chapter covers. So any updates will be a false alarm... don't want to get your hopes up! And also don't want to confuse anyone when you see you're reading chapter 4 instead of chapter 7. Thank you for your patience everyone! ^u^
Hey guys, the next couple of weeks I'll be getting more hours at my job working full-time, and with exams and projects coming up as well, I will not have time to update. I'm thinking mid November I should be back on schedule, but I'll keep you posted. :)
Unfortunately I will probably not be posting new pages at least until the end of September. But it doesn't mean I'm putting this comic aside! I am still preparing for intervention which is only a couple of weeks away and making some pretty OTBS prints, keychains and other things. Along with racing to get ready for Intervention, I start school in about a week or two, and I also start a new job Friday! :D I'll be working in an office environment, it's pretty close to home, so I'm really excited! Time to dust off my business casual wear from a few years ago X3

There won't be an update today, and for a good reason too: I'm lazy.
But for real, I just haven't sat down to work on a page this week, I spent a lot of the time working on stuff to sell for intervention and practicing my figure drawings since I've been feeling kind of rusty, and I know I need to improve as well. I may update on Sunday, tomorrow I'll be going to (yet another) party, and I leave Monday for Rehoboth beach! So unfortunately no update for next Friday, but hoping that being by the shore and being away from home and stress will give me some inspiration to come up with some new drawings. I'm really excited, can't wait for Monday! :D
